Security and Privacy

Using Forge, the app has been built to provide the following security traits:

• The app has no access to read any of your Confluence data. The app can only access the information that is typed by users into the macro.
  
  

• The app does not share, store or process any of your data externally to your Confluence site. The app cannot connect to any external services on the Internet.
  
  

• The app does not store any personal information. When a user signs-up to attend an event, the app only stored the user’s unique Atlassian account identifier to track their registration.
  
  

• Event sign-up information, including the user’s account identifier and additional comments are stored within Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure using Forge hosted storage.
  
  

• Because the app uses Forge hosted storage exclusively, data is automatically stored in accordance with the data residency configuration for your Confluence data.
